Privacy Policy

In short: this site collects no analytics data unless you accept it in the cookie banner. No ads, no marketing cookies, no forms, and your data is never sold.

This is the portfolio website of Elodie Soler ("I", "me"). I'm the data controller for any personal data processed through this site. If you have any questions about this policy or your data, email me at [email protected].

Analytics

Only with your consent

I use Google Analytics 4 (via Google Tag Manager) to understand which projects people find interesting. No analytics run and no analytics cookies are set unless you click Accept in the cookie banner. If you reject, nothing is collected — not even anonymised pings.

If you accept, the following is collected:

The legal basis for this is your consent (UK GDPR, Article 6(1)(a)). You can withdraw it at any time using the cookie icon in the corner of the page — analytics stop immediately.

Cookies & storage

What gets stored in your browser

There are no advertising or marketing cookies on this site, and no session-recording tools.

Hosting

How the site is served

This site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. To deliver pages and protect against attacks, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address as part of serving the site (legitimate interest). I don't use this to identify individual visitors.

Contact

If you email me

The "Email me" buttons open your own email app — there are no contact forms on this site. If you choose to email me, I'll receive your email address, name and message, and I'll use them only to reply to you. You won't be added to any mailing list.

Retention & transfers

How long, and where

Analytics event data is retained for 14 months and then deleted automatically. Google may process analytics data on servers outside the UK and EEA, including in the United States, under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and its UK extension.

Your rights

You stay in control

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal data, to object to its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these, email me at [email protected].

If you're unhappy with how I've handled your data, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes

Updates to this policy

If anything about how this site handles data changes, I'll update this page and revise the date at the top.
